While a user is browsing a website, the website sends a piece of data and store it in user's web browser, to keep a track of the users activity on the website. This piece of data is called a cookie/ web cookie or browser cookie. So every time the user loads the website, the browser sends the cookie back to the server to notify the website of the user's previous activity. Cookies were basically designed to remember such information (such as items in a shopping cart) or to record the user's browsing activity (months or years ago).
Now that we know, cookies are the real reason, time limited online tv websites keep a track of your browsing history; the solution is to just clear the cookies, cache and browsing history of the browser. So the next time, when the limited time is running out, you need to type Ctrl+ Shift+ Del button and select options to delete Cache, Browsing history and Cookies. Open the website again, and you will get to watch the online tv again for the same time period again.
